Create a new project

Learn how to create a new project in the Phasio manufacturing platform

Projects let you group multiple quotes and orders under one umbrella, making it easier to manage work related to a specific customer or initiative.

Projects can be created in two ways:

  • Manually by the manufacturer.
  • Automatically when a customer submits a quote via the Storefront.

This guide explains how to effectively create and use projects.

Create a project manually

  1. Go to Projects from the main sidebar
  2. Click + Add New
  3. Enter the following details:
    • Organization
    • Project Name
    • Description (Optional)
  4. Toggle Notifications on or off to control whether the customer receives status and activity updates.

Automatically created projects via Storefront

When a customer submits a quote through your Storefront, a new project is created automatically. The submitted quote is linked to the project and appears in your Projects dashboard.
