Manage post-processing options

Phasio’s platform offers a centralized interface for managing all post-processing options. From this unified dashboard, manufacturers can view, configure, and maintain finishing operations—ensuring consistency, efficiency, and a streamlined customer experience across all manufacturing workflows.

Manage your post-processing options

1. Click Post-processing from the main sidebar.
2. Click the ··· menu next to any post-processing option to do the following:
   1. Set as Auto Enabled: Automatically selects this finishing operation during customer checkout, ideal for commonly required treatments.
   2. Edit: Make changes to the post-processing option’s settings, including pricing equations, effective dates, workflow steps, and descriptions.
   3. Delete: Remove the post-processing option from all associated processes and prevent it from being selected in future customer interactions.

Hide an option without deleting it

Deleting a post-processing option removes it from every process it is assigned to. If you only want to stop customers from buying it for now, click Edit and turn off the Purchasable toggle instead. You can also use Effective From to schedule when an option becomes available.

How post-processing fits together

A post-processing option goes through three steps before customers can buy it:

1. Create it with a name, a pricing equation and, for Routing users, the operations that complete it. See Add a new post-processing option.
2. Assign it to each manufacturing process it works with. See Assign post-processing options.
3. Price it accurately. The post-process pricing deep dives show worked equations for dyeing, vapor smoothing, shot peening and thread inserts.
