Assign post-processing options

Phasio’s platform allows manufacturers to assign each manufacturing process with compatible post-processing options. This ensures customers only see finishing options that match the selected production method—reducing confusion, preventing errors, and simplifying the ordering experience.

Assign post-processing options

1. Navigate to Processes from the main sidebar.
2. Select the process you want to configure, then go to the Post-processing tab.
3. Click the dropdown menu to view all available post-processing operations configured in your Phasio system.
4. Select the post-processing options you want to associate with this manufacturing process.
5. Click Update to save your changes.

If the dropdown in Step 3 does not include the operation you need, you can add new post-processing options. To do so, follow the steps in post-processing configuration guide.

Why assign post-processing per process

Not every finish works with every manufacturing process. When you assign options per process, the Storefront only offers finishes that your shop can actually apply to the selected process. This prevents orders that you would have to reject or correct by hand.

Review these assignments when you:

• Add a new process. See Add a new process.
• Add a new post-processing option. It is not visible to customers until you assign it to at least one process.
• Stop offering a finish for one process but keep it for others.
