Create a new quote (Customer Storefront)

Learn how to create a new quote (customer storefront) in the Phasio manufacturing platform

Phasio’s platform offers two quote generation methods to meet diverse business needs:

  • Customer-Initiated Quotes: Customers upload files and submit requests through your customized Phasio Storefront.
  • Manufacturer-Generated Quotes: Authorized users from the manufacturer’s team create and customize quotes through the administrative backend.

This guide explains how customers create and submit quotes through your Storefront.

Prerequisites for manufacturers

  1. Your Storefront must be set up and published so customers can access it.
  2. Make your Storefront accessible by sharing the URL with customers or embed it on your website.

Customer experience: Create a new quote

As a customer, you can request a quote in three quick steps:

  1. Upload your model.
  2. Set part requirements: Pick the technology, material, color, and any specific options.
  3. Proceed to checkout: Submit your request, pay online, or download the quote.

After submitting, you’ll find your quotes in the Dashboard, where you can track progress and message the manufacturer directly.
