Manage customer access

Learn how to manage customer access in the Phasio manufacturing platform

Phasio gives manufacturers flexible control over customer authentication methods and the timing of login requirements during the checkout process. These customizable settings enable you to balance security, data collection, and user experience based on your specific business needs.

Configure customer access settings

  1. Navigate to Organization from the main sidebar, and select General.
  2. Scroll down to the Customer Access section.
  3. Available Methods: Choose the authentication method customers will use to access their account:
    • Only with Phone Number – SMS-based verification.
    • Only with Email – Email-based authentication.
    • With Phone number or email – Allows customers to authenticate using either method.
  4. Sign-in location: Select when account creation or authentication is required during the checkout flow:
    • Before price screen: Require customers to log in and authenticate before viewing pricing information.
    • After price screen: Allow customers to view pricing first, then prompt customers to authenticate or log in.
  5. Require approval for new customers: Choose whether new customer registrations require administrative approval before activation. This provides an additional layer of control over who can access your manufacturing services.
  6. Click  Save in the top-right corner to apply your organization settings.
