Enable wall thickness checks

Phasio’s Digital Inventory users can enable automated geometric analysis to evaluate uploaded CAD files for manufacturability. This advanced capability verifies that part geometries meet minimum wall thickness requirements based on the selected material and manufacturing technology, helping prevent production failures before they occur.

This capability boosts success rates by flagging issues early and giving customers instant feedback on designs that need adjustment.

Enable wall thickness checks

1. Navigate to Organization from the main sidebar, and select General.
2. Scroll down to the Features section.
3. Enable the Wall Thickness Check toggle to activate the automated validation system. This feature is available only to Digital Inventory users only.
4. Click Save in the top right corner to apply your changes.
