Manage infill options”

Learn how to manage infill options” in the Phasio manufacturing platform

Phasio’s platform lets manufacturers control infill settings for additive manufacturing, making it easy to offer custom internal density options to customers during the ordering process. Infill configurations are process-specific, so you can customize them separately for each manufacturing technology you offer.

This guide explains how to add new infill options and configure existing ones.

Add a new infill option

  1. Click on Processes from the main sidebar.
  2. Select the process you want to configure, then go to the Infills tab.
  3. Click the + button to add a new infill option.

This opens the Infill Configuration modal:

  1. Name: Enter a descriptive, customer-friendly name that clearly communicates the infill’s characteristics and intended use (e.g., Lightweight 15%, Standard 50%, High-Strength 80%).
  2. Infill Value: Define the infill value as a decimal between 0 and 1, representing the percentage of internal volume filled:
    • For example, a 10% infill should be entered as 0.1
    • A 25% infill should be entered as 0.25
    • A 100% solid part should be entered as 1.0
  3. Effective From: Set the date when this infill option becomes available on your Storefront.
