Assign workstations in workflows

Phasio allows you to assign specific workstations to each manufacturing process, creating a detailed production workflow tailored for that process.

Since you may have multiple manufacturing processes, each with unique requirements, it’s important to assign only the relevant workstations to each one. This ensures that the correct steps are triggered during production, avoids misrouting, and streamlines the entire workflow.

Enable workstations in the production workflow

1. Navigate to Processes from the main sidebar.

2. Select the manufacturing process you want to configure, then click the Workflows tab.

3. You’ll see a list of all available workflow steps, showing every production workstation currently set up in your system.

   For guidance on creating and configuring workflow steps, refer to the workflow setup documentation

4. Select only the workstations required for this specific manufacturing process. This defines the exact production sequence and ensures the correct workstations are used when producing parts with this process.

   ⚠️ Important: Do not assign post-processing workstations on this screen - they are managed separately.

5. Click Save to apply the workflow configuration to all future orders using this manufacturing process.
